Unarchiving in Gmail essentially moves emails from your "All Mail" storage back into your inbox. Here's how to do it:

• From the Gmail Web Interface:

  1. Locate the Archived Email: There are a few ways to find archived emails:
     • Search: Use the Gmail search bar at the top to search for keywords, sender, or subject lines within the email.
     • All Mail: Navigate to the "All Mail" folder (usually accessible from the left-hand menu – you may need to expand the menu to see it). This folder contains all your emails, including archived ones.
  2. Select the Email(s): Once you've found the email(s) you want to unarchive, check the box next to each one.
  3. Move to Inbox: Click the "Move to Inbox" icon (it looks like an arrow pointing from a box to an inbox) in the toolbar at the top. This will move the selected emails back to your inbox.

• From the Gmail Mobile App (Android or iOS):

  1. Locate the Archived Email: Similar to the web interface, you can find archived emails using:
     • Search: Use the search bar.
     • All Mail: Access the "All Mail" folder from the menu (usually accessed by tapping the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner).
  2. Open the Email: Tap on the email you want to unarchive.
  3. Unarchive: Tap the three vertical dots (menu icon) in the top-right corner. Select "Move to Inbox" from the menu that appears. Alternatively, swipe right on the email from the All Mail list and choose "Move to Inbox".

• Important Note: Archiving is different from deleting. Archived emails are still stored in your account and can be retrieved at any time. Deleting permanently removes the email (although it may be recoverable from the trash for a limited time).
